We'd like recommendations for a good WebMail program that can support many (10,000 +) users. We've been looking at NeoMail (http://neomail.sourceforge.net/) and it looks like a pretty solid (and free :) ) program. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to take a look at Mailman Pro. Not sure if it can handle that many users or not but I have heard it is a pretty good Web-based Mail script.

Good Luck in your search

We're well aware of cgi-resources.com (http://cgi-resources.com) and hotscripts.com (http://hotscripts.com) . What we were looking for was your suggestion based on prior experience or knowledge of a specific product.

I don't know how good NeoMail really is, but Texas A&M University used a lightly modified version of NeoMail (modified to access student databases) for awhile. They have since gone to a really heavily modified version of NeoMail. Seems to work fine.

I don't know how many of the 40,000+ students use it, but I'm sure at least 10,000 do.

NeoMail has worked flawlessly for us for months. I would recommend it.

Thanks Nate for that suggestion. The WebMail client we're going to use needs to work with pop accounts and not IMAP.

We're looking at Popper (http://www.ractive.ch/popper/index.php) . Does anybody here use that program ?

Yes, I use it with no problem.

The calendar is not working but all the mail function do.
With inline frames it looks really like outlook and it's easy to use.
I don't know what server you will need for 10'000 user (I think a very big one because popper use mysql and php) because I use it only for myself.
