I'm with OverclockersClub.com and we are looking for a company to donate us some bandwidth and a small amount of hard drive space where we can host "just" our downloadable files. These files can be found at: http://overclockersclub.com/downloadcenter

We will also be adding more files to this section of our site regularly. We need someone to give us bandwidth and hdd space so that we can have a mirror for these files to take some bandwidth load off of our server.

We need around 400Gb of bandwidth a month and atleast 500Mb of disk space. The speed needs to be non throttled.

In exchange for the bandwidth and space we will offer your company a link/image on every page of our download center. This link or image will say something like: "Bandwidth supplied by: ...." or "Powered by: ..... " ect..

You will also get a static banner under our affiliate links on the right side of our site. This banner will be displayed on every page of our site, except for our forums.

If you are interested or would like to discuss this further, please contact me on ICQ only @ 11382784
I will not be checking my private message in this forum so please don't send any. If you don't have ICQ, you can contact me via email at: whtoffer@overclockersclub.com

Thanks,

Matt

Do you have any idea how much 400GB of bandwidth would cost? If you're really pushing that much transfer you should really look at a dedicated server from RS or something. I doubt you're going to find someone willing to offer that for advertising.

We already have two dedicated servers. We are trying to get the bandwidth load off of one of them so we can host some game servers on one of the dedicated servers for our site goers, and gamers around the world.

Bandwidth is expensive, but so is the advertising.

What your asking for isn't possible on a shared account. You'd push server loads to WAY beyond the normal. So you're pretty asking for a free dedicated server in exchange for non-targeted advertising. Just doesn't work out, unless of course you want cogent only bandwidth from a host who doesn't give a single crap about server load times.

Not totally true..

I have a server run from FDC that I only host one site on..

Server loads are excellent, and uptime is normal..

The site I run off of it doesn't use much bandwidth so I have a TON left over..

Good luck finding a server!!! I think this is a great opportunity, maybe you should give us WHT members an idea of how many times your download site is viewed a day/week/month.

Also most of you forget to realize that most overclockers are major game fanatics and have clans that use webspace. Maybe you can advertise around that or something.

If. I only had the money I would help you out because I think it would work both ways.
