How many people are using Debian vs Redhat and why. I'm trying to make up my mind. I would rather not use Redhat but it seems that allot of applications are designed for it.

I have been using redhat, mandrake, slackware, suse, on dedicated servers, and redhat seems JUST fine.

Redhat would probably be more compatible with most software you would install. I've tried debian serveral times, its good, but i still like redhat better.

RedHat has the advantage that most of the control panels are designed for it.
