How much will I need for an active forum that runs invisionboard and gets 500 to 1000 unique hits a day? I have talked to multiple people on msn but they all say different things... That somehow magically fit into their hostingplans...

I get more than that, and I'm also hosting (helping out) messageserver.org...and we haven't gone over 4GB. I think 2-3GB will be fine. Check to see if the host you'll be getting will allow you to upgrade if you go over, instead of charging like five bucks for each extra GB. I know UtopiaHosting does that. ;)

only 2 to 3gb? with images and attachments enabled and avatars allowed?

We have images and avatars enabled, but not attachments. If you want a safe buffer zone, maybe 5GB then. :D

Yes, 5GB would be more than enough and give you room to grow too....

Wow, isn't it amazing but I happen to have a plan which fits your exact bandwidth means.... (just kidding).

I will put my two cents in and say you probably aren't going to go over 4-5 with your current level of participation, probably actually less.

ah thanks all, I think I will still go with a plan that offers 10 to 15gb so I dont need to worry about bandwidth and I can always use the extra bandwidth... And I wont need to worry about using a complicated header or a fancy design...

Thanks again,
