I take it that, with your minimal price range, you're looking for shared web hosting?

I don't use them myself, but you might want to look at 1&1. They have some rather inexpensive Windows shared hosting plans.

You should be able to upgrade to bigger size but upgrade is usually expensive.

See what EuroVPS has in your budget, for shared hosting.
Many shared hosts would work for this. CoolHandle is another choice.

I'd suggest against 1&1 or Godaddy (or Lunarpages).

For the purpose you have indicated, my first choice is x13-hosting.org. UK company. Not oversold so you can get a good connection speed all the time. Prices start at 3usd per month. You can choose to pay month by month if you want. They offer Softaculous and their version works very well. I have installed all kinds of software without a hitch. In good time, too.

Find out for yourself. Good luck.

Yes, I would because their VPS plan is a new offering. I am only using their webhosting plan. No idea how good or bad their VPS plan is unless I try it, right?

you could try with the pure windows hosting companies such asphostcentral , they are pure windows hosting providers.

Basically 15 MSSQL databases will cost you around $100 per month (most hosting companies offer 100 to 500 MB Space for SQL DB initially).

Once you reach the limit of space, you have option to upgrade your space - that will cost you approximately $10 / 100 MB / month.

This is certainly out of your budget.

I can suggest you another option. I have used hostdepartment.com's "Unlimited MSSQL Database only" plan. They offer unlimited database - no web space. It will cost you $6.95 only.

So, you can buy web space from one hosting company and database from hostdepartment.com. (Their control panel is not so good...)

Alternatively, you can go for a VPS solution - a basic vps will cost you $35 / month + SQL DB copy (another $25 - $50 / month). However, it will stretch your budget a little bit.
