Does anybody know how I get the currency outout in Spanish Pesetas (Ptes). I can do what I want but nothing works. I used all tips and hints at Akopia's Developer Site but still I get crazy because the only thing I see is this "stupid" $-Sign.....:bawling:

Any help would be great!

I had the same problem but I found out how to change it.

What you have to do is go in to the admin area click on administration and then click on tables and a list of tables will load. You then have to find the table called locale, once you have found it click on the edit icon (the one on the left) and just edit the info as required.

Its that easy

Thanks but I already did that. I have set the following
in the catalog.cfg:

Locale en_US LC_CTYPE C (also en_US)
LocaleDatabase locale

And I changed the $ in the table "locate" into Pts ... but I still get this $-Sign in my cart.

Be I so stupid? Or is just the hole world using Dollars and I miss that thing??? :)

Well, Akopia is a good and complexe Shopping solution but they might have the worst support and help if you are not able to change such easy thing like the currency!

Does anybody has a definitve solution to change the curreny before I kill my shopsystem?

I might found the error.

I set up akopia again and then I changed only the username, passwort, Dollar Sign ($) to Pts. and the index.html. Ok so far. Then I made the reconifuration and I got a "success" outpout. I checked the error.log on the hosting account = Blank, nothing. It's seems fine.

I checked if the currency on the shop (online) is now Pts. .. and what my eyes are seeing: $ :angry

Then I checked out the mainerror file in the usr/local/cpanel/3party/interchange and I saw following:
