Ok - I'm looking into both of these merchant accounts and besides the difference in fees (I know, Revecom, is a bit more). Which do you all think has the least processing problems and the best customer support? Any other pros/cons between these two? Are there any other merchants I should look for out there? I'm a newbie at this, but I would like to just stick with one company from the get go if at all possible.
I'd like the flexibility to be able to put up a catalog of items as well as charge regularly scheduled fees in regards to merchant capability.
Thanks for everyone's input - you all are awesome!

Hello,
First of all welcome to this forum. :)
For your information Revecom charged a $49 setup fee and $1.00 + 3.95% per online Credit card transaction.
Thats cost a lot if the items u r selling is less than $18. But the price of the item u r selling is more than $18, than Revecom is cheaper compare to Instabill.
Example 1: a item for $10
Revecom: u have to pay $1 + $0.395 (3.95% of $10) to Revecom, u only get $8.605
Instabill: u have to pay 10% transaction fee, that means u pay $1 (10% of $10) u get $9
Example 2: a item for $20
Revecom: u have to pay $1 + $0.79 (3.95% of $20) to Revecom, u only get $18.21
Instabill: u have to pay 10% transaction fee, that means u pay $2 (10% of $20) u only get $18.
I have sign up with both Instabill & Revecom, i am using Revecom at the moment. For Revecom, you can customise your own form field & upload your own logo and modify the design of your shopping cart layout to suite your web site.
You can request a trial from Revecom before u make up your mind.
By the way there are several thread regarding Instabill & Revecom at this forum before. Why don't u do a search?
:)
I have not tried Instabill, but I have used Revecom for a while now and I use their TPP Pro system which even lets you pass the variables from your own shopping cart. Their support is slow, but in the end they are very helpful.
Their fees are steep, but this will obviously depend on your average ticket price. ;)
