I am looking at signing up with Hostworkz, however, before I do I would like some feedback on them.

I've never heard anything bad about hostworkz, but haven't used their services personally. You can try looking thru past posts about them here:

Ok. Anyone else have any comments on them? Especially those who have tried their services.

I emailed them once at 2 pm with a sales question. Since they didn't answer until after 8 pm, I figured it was a school kid running a one-man show.

Note: I'm not complaining about the 6 hours to respond. That's not bad. It's just the time of day that made me think that.

Not trying to imply anything. I happened to open hostworkz in 2 windows (don't know why) and was looking through the "lesser" version (:D) but closed it after all the links didn't work. Then there was a new and improved Hostworkz there. Confused, I reloaded your site in another browser widow and the other version was there again. After a while it settled down and I kept getting the Flash version. Just weird, that's all. Maybe I was catching a cached page or something??

I see. Don't you just hate it when browsers cache? ;)

Sorry, that was just my guess or impression. So, what are the "true facts", as far as ages and number of staff go?

I have no clue what their staffing levels are, however since I have been with them I have dealt with Greg, Peter, Toby and Chris so far. Not sure if that helps.

I just joined them a few days ago after seeing the Super Special deal. I had a few questions before joining and they responded within about an hour and were very helpful.

I'm starting to get a little worried however and wondering if I made the right decision. I got up this morning and wanted to do a little work on my site and found it down. Then I discovered that hostworkz.com itself is down. I hope it is just a fluke and doesn't become a common occurence.

So far they are down 1 hour this morning. The same thing happened for a couple of hours a couple of weeks ago. This is really frustrating.

Can those customers of Hostworkz please let me know how they dealt with their recent downtime? This will give me a good indication of their customer service skills. I don't what to go with a host that has bad customer service skills!
