Is there a minimum amount of activity someone must do to keep this deal? Otherwise, what is to stop someone from just using this to get free hosting? ie: sign up for the domain reseller and then never register a domain, etc.. just use you for the free account? Zen 12-13-2002, 06:53 PM Well you have to fund the Enom Account and the minimum amount is $100 if use a credit card. Since Enom don't refund refills so the user of the Enom account might as well use the cash in the account to buy domains. mrzippy 12-13-2002, 07:03 PM Originally posted by Zen Well you have to fund the Enom Account and the minimum amount is $100 if use a credit card. I have over 2000 resellers under me, and less than 1/4 of them actually deposit the $100 necessary to register domains. Most simply get the account (since it's free) to "see" what it looks like, etc.. This is why I am wondering about this offer. If there are no "conditions" to it, then it is just plain dumb since people could simply get free hosting for nothing. However, if they don't get the free hosting until they make the $100 deposit, then it's not a bad idea. Only get hosting if you fund it. mrzippy 12-13-2002, 08:19 PM Ack!  OK, I'm an idiot! :D petertdavis 12-13-2002, 10:10 PM Yep, I added the bit about funding the ENOM account to be sure I would get serious people. Wish I could offer better pricing, but ENOM put a stop to that. :bawling: |
