Hello All,

Does anyone know of any good guides to starting an e-commerce site? I'm experienced when it comes to web development and have designed and managed many sites online and have my own VPS servers.
I'm now looking to become a reseller online and have little experience when it comes to selling or setting up an e-commerce site, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any good guides to selling online or setting up an e-commerce site, I just need to make sure I'm doing everything correctly to stand a chance of succeeding!

A guide on Marketing? Not really what I'm looking for, sorry.

First off you find what you are selling or reselling (real physical item or electronic).
Then find out if you will use your seller's API to see how your site will be built (whether you need a cart or build something the interacts with theirs.
Once this is done, you get a merchant account and a gateway to accept credit cards and process them (or you go with paypal but fees can be high so if you are reselling you may have trouble.
then you get an SSL install it on your site to encrypt the site.
finally, you market your site.
