Are there any members here that use escaladenet.com Dedicated Servers, If so are they any good, ie connection support and the other things that matter in life.

That host apparently got banned from this board for advertising themselves.

That $50/mo dedicated server plan with 40GB looks like a good deal, assuming that their network quality is good. The server is crap, but if you just need the raw bandwidth, run a lightweight web server like thttpd and it'll be fine.

I just put in an order for their $99 server, well, that was six days ago. No confirmation, and no reply to my followup email about about four days. I guess they don't want my business? Not impressed.

I posted a message to a mailist requesting quotes for dedicated boxes as well as colocation.

About 20 minutes later, a guy from escaladenet.com replied offering his services. That's awesome since I'm in the same city.

I replied. Nothing.
Left messages on phone. Nothing.
E-Mail support@, sales@ and everything else@... Nothing.

Wonder if they went under or just don't want more business?
