SHOUTcast/ICEcast...I've not seen too much about it on the forums here. Is there any users of it? I'm curious about what kind of people are members of the web hosting community, and who utilize streaming audio services.

I do know much about streaming, but I'm curious as to what WHT users think of it.

I used Icecast when i ran my radio and found it really good accompanied with CentovaCast.

it allows 2+ mountpoints which means the auto DJ could stay on whilst a DJ was on so it never buffered. i would recommend it more than SHOUTcast tbh

I am not sure about what is the question is asking about, but our stats show that we have more inquires for audio on WMS and video on FMS servers, rather on xCast servers.

I have used Icecast, that's really nice.

I've actually done such installation for one of our managed server customers last month, Pretty nice functionality, Indeed really nice!
