How reliable is GISOL.com?
What do you think of their shared hosting offers?

haven't seen packages (web space and transfer) for such low price in a long time.
It looks pretty solid to me personally, but its always good to hear other's opinion.

:eek: Those offers look too good to be true. Plus their special ended yesterday. Even their regular prices are extremely cheap...

Well I had lost track, but it all just came rushing back to me, at http://www.gisol.org (domain was part of his payback as I recall) was the story of a guy who got charged something like $16 000 by gisol since they changed their TOS without giving him prior notice (or any notice at all for that matter).
I'd completely forgotten about it until now, and it looks like he has something different on the page, but probably still worth a look (used to be an absolutely massive diary, but I didn't have the time to keep up with it).
I still wouldn't go for Gisol, they just don't look right (plans and prices, etc), but good luck with your search :)

Btw, I wasn't gonna sign up with them. Just wanted to check how sane the company is.
I dont think GISOL is "good" hosting provider ,my site hosted on GISOL for a year and guess what?... read my lastest support ticket with their reply...and sorry for my english (I am not American ..:D)

I am not sure this ticket was reply by Tech team or sales team..(I remember submit this ticket to Customer service nor Tech).. I ask submit this ticket to sales team and reply please.. Because I really don't understant what Tech said...would sales please simply answer this mail to me ...I want to be sure I can received my domain/registry key end of the contract with GISOL in order to I can manage my domain name (DNS changed etc....)..

I must say this time the GISOL Server is more better than a month ago,and thank you for your excellent support..(but CP down again..)
I notice GISOL promote all same Hosting Packages's features this time(same fee)..more Data Transfer/more disk space/more sub domain etc...So the questions are..
1.My account valid dates is 2002/02/14 to 2003/02/13(and dont forgot you offer 90 days free),If I continue host my web by GISOL after 2003/02/14 ,all the features will be smae as before or new offer this time?
2.Can I transfer my another existing domain name to GISOL and point it to my primary domain ?(my primary domain host on GISOL now),and, how much the cost?
3.Does GISOL offer Resller Project this time?
4.I already register my domain name for free for one year(Annually paid), but still have no my domain name Password.Can you tell my eadj.net domain password to me at this time?

If you would like to set up pointers, please reply to this ticket and provide us with the domain names you want to point and authorize a charge of $19.95 per domain.
This charge does not include domain name registration. You may provide names that you have already registered, or we can register new domains for you for a registration fee of $25.00 per year per domain.

Sorry about the Q1 , It is not clear for me to understand what you said..
My account(contract) valid dates is 2002/02/14 to 2003/02/13,so my contract will expire on 2003/02/14 (less than 30 days from now ,because today is 2003/01/15)
If I continue order the GISOL host package and become the continue order customer,I will applied to new accounts? or just simply applied a new contract and payment? If simply applied a new contract is ture,the host package offer me promotion features or not promotion features?

All contracts are automatically renewed for another term under the same conditions. Your current package features will not be changed.

This kind of Management dececision is so stranged..It mean,when a old GISOL's customer finish the old contract, DO NOT deal the contiune order or any future contract ,the best way is applied to a new accounts then you get the all new features ..I believe no one(old customer of GISOL) happy to pay the same fee to make contiune order but got less features than new applied account ..
1.So,Please DO NOT automatically renewed my contract at end of my contract under the same conditions..because,why should I pay the same fee and got the less features in the future?When the end of my contract..please applied me to a new account with domain "eadj.net" and I will 1 year prepaid..If not,I DO NOT want to make the contiune order with GISOL when my contract is end..(My old contract is 1 year prepaid already) ..
2.Please release my domain to me at the end of my contract with GISOL.

Do you believe they promote features of package many time last year to new applied account ;but NOTHING promote with exist customer...?
Every day is LIMITED TIME OFFER Expires date (GISOL..)
Does they offer really good stuff?...I dont think so.....
