I'm currently in for WorldZonePRO and servus.ws but since VDI is having some major problems I'm thinking twice about it.

I'll also be interested in hosts supporting custom plans.

Any help would be great!

I think you've been given very reasonable price quotes. To go much lower, you're going to have to compromise something....like quality maybe?

I guess it all boils down to how important this site is to you.

The web site is important to me but I just don't see a point behind paying for stuff like 6GB monthly bandwidth, 100 pop mails, 100 FTP accounts ... basically things I won't ever be using. And I'm not willing to compromise on quality as well. I don't see such a package exceeding around $40/year .. unless the host is exceptional. Like I said, WorldZonePro ($36/yr) and servus.ws are on my list .. but due to the problems with the VDI network I'm not taking any chances. All I'm looking for is a fairly calculated plan by a reliable host.

I don't quite understand what you are asking...
You are asking for a minimum of ...... (space, bandwith, pop mail, etc) at a maximum price of $40/yr? Now, since you are asking for min of 2GB bandwith (without any maximum limit), why would you set for a maximum price? Truely I would say the host here will lose money for $40/yr if you are using more than 2GB a month... (not to mention if you use 100 of DB, 40 sub-domains, etc... all for $40/yr????)

So, please clarify... what exactly do you need that is worth $40/yr.
