We have maxed out our space at UUNET, and are in need of additional Collocation Space, so we wanted to look at other providers, rather than just getting new space at UUNET (this will also give us the opportunity to look at offering some advanced features, like failover load balancing, etc).
Here is what we are looking for:
1. You have to be in Northern Virginia (sorry Charles :))
2. We are looking for a Rack with a 1 Meg connection to start with (we'll outgrow that pretty fast, but we don't want to over-commit).
3. We need to have 24x7 access to the facility, and the ability to quickly add and delete people from the access list.
4. Redundant connectivity, power, all the usual stuff.
Feel free to respond, or e-mail me if you can meet our needs, or think you know someone who can.

Dektong,
Thanks for the link. We actually used Colosource to help us decide as well, but I wanted to give first preference to WHT members.
We decided to use MAE Dulles (http://www.maedulles.com). We were able to get a full rack with a 10 meg connection for less than $3k a month (watch for some nice server deals to help pay for it :D). We liked them because of their redundancy, fast response, and, like UUNET, they are < 10 minutes away :).
I will tell you who else we looked at, and why we rejected them:
1. DTWebworks: Great response, really, really good pricing, and we know Charles is reliable. We decided against them only because we preferred a local data center. But, if you are looking for Data Center space I highly recommend them.
2. Colo.com: Aside from their financial troubles, Colo.com was very disorganized, and getting ahold of someone who could answer our questions was difficult. Their data centers are great, I'm sure, and they have excellent connectivity, but they make it so difficult to get a quote that it was not worth the trouble :).
3. Switch & Data: They were by far the worse. It took us three phone calls to even find out who the right person to talk to was. When we finally got ahold of the sales person he spent an inordinate amount of time insulting Colo.com, rather than telling us why they were better. They would not quote us pricing until we signed an NDA, then after we got the NDA they wanted us to MAIL them two signatures. Too much rigamarole for our tastes.
There were several other local providers we looked as well as some of the national providers who were out of space in their Northern Virginia data centers.
