Havent really gotten a clear answer on this yet.
Have only had the 1 paypal account which I had signed up back in the States. Though I dont think I used any SSN etc.
Cant remember too well but I might have verified it using my US CC.
It also has my US checking and my J CC and J checking account details. Though I think only the US cc was used for verifying it years ago.
so....
A. Can I simply remove all my CC and Bank account details, then close the current paypal account down and open a new paypal account within the US? (obviously using my US addy)
(assuming ofcourse that the only way to change paypal countries is to close it down and reopen in new country)
B. Does it matter or would it be an issue IF my ebay store location did not match my paypal addy? (guessing it doesnt need to match guessing anyway)
C. Would removing my CC and Bank account details accomplish anything? Does paypal actually remove them permanently or would they still keep them on file somewhere for verification etc.
If A can be done and B would be ok, what would paypal website payments pro use to verify the account? What would they base their risk assessment on?
If I remember correctly I think I had to close mine down and could just reopen it in another country using the same email address etc.
Would they need a fully functioning website to approve website payments pro? (site wont be ready until payment is sorted)
And what is their application, verification and approval process?
If I could use the same premier account and simply move it or something theyd see flawless performance but I guess even closing and reopening it would be the same so long as the email address is the same? (or would my record and account details and trading history disappear?)
