Hi I have read a guide to installing bind and everything, and changed name.conf into the stuff that needed to be changed, but I dont think It worked can anyone help me install it? Also can you use something like no-ip with bind if your IP is dynamic?

What do you mean you don't think it worked? :) Is there a named running? Can you telnet on port 53? What do log files say? Fill us in. :)

Well, I don't think you need to specify an IP for bind to "bind" to. So, it will bind to all/any as long as no address is supplied. If I'm wrong, you might want to give your machine an internal IP to bind to, one that doesn't change.
