In India how do you accept Creditcard payment and netbanking transaction from your website.

I heard about CCavenue and 2Checkout,Google checkout but they required initial charges to deposit and thier transaction fee are high.

I want to accept with Creditcard and netbanking can you guide me which should I choose.

Can I accpet all major credit card payment with my free verified paypal account.

What is the money for investment for? Paypal will only charge per transaction.
I cannot deposit initial deposit fee although do you mean per transaction for premium account or free account and how do you accept Netbanking payment.

Rick, as you said you have a verified account with paypal, just upgrade it to business account (if you are doing business), its free and you will be able to accept CC and also can withdraw funds to your bank account.

Note that Paypal & RBI had issues in January/February about personal payments. So do the things correctly to avoid issues.

Yes you can.

The investment I didn't understand what you meant in your first post. You will have to verify your account by them taking a small fee from your bank account but that is refunded back into your paypal I believe now (which is didn't used to be).

I dont have amount i.e 2CO charges $49 USD for setup and 5%+0.45% transaction.CCavenue also has high setup charges and tranaction charges.
In my earlier post I said that I have Paypal free account verified. How can the user can submit amount with thier CC in my paypal account. Do they have to create a paypal account first for transaction.

For Vinayak:IMHO premium and Businees account are not free. Can you tell me their charges and they required any document for upgrading the account.I have very small setup should I go for business account what are thier benefits and in India how you accpet Netbanking payments.

I think the premium account do not want to invest anything but they will deduct some amount on every transaction.

Also for accepting credit cards you can contact your bank and ask for such services...This way your payment will be handled by your bank and there will be no transaction charges as well...

About 4 months ago, I upgraded my Personal (Free) verified paypal account to 'Premier' account without any investment fee.
Paypal will deduct for small amount on each of your transaction (for example, receiving money from your clients).

Personal, Premier or Business account from Paypal are free, just different formalities depending on your country of operations. If you are from India, to have business account you will need a company name to signup/upgrade, a current account with any of the nationalised bank and PAN number to withdraw funds, but it makes your dealings legal in the eyes of RBI.

You don't have to pay any setup fee or deposit money to get Paypal Business Account, just that in business account they deduct a small amount as transaction fee, but then all CC processing companies do that. Business account has many benefits over personal account, you can compare them at paypal website.

In India CC processing or net banking payment processing is quite costly. Your clients can transfer funds to you online without any charges, but to integrate that in your billing/accounting system you will need services from a merchant provider and that is going to be very costly.

Hi Vinayak,
Just to clarify, transecute has stopped accepting new accounts.
Neither will CCavenue accept webhosting business proposals as master card and visa both have considered "WEbhosting" as negative.

So, either one needs to sell services as a reseller (in lines with 2CO)

On seeing a large market in India, we tried these options and thats what we have been told. In case you have any other option, do let us know. We would like to accept payments from india in INR to tap the highly potential market.

Regards,
Dave.

Hi,

Paypal does not require any setup fees, but their transaction rates are a bit high. your clients can pay to you using credit card via paypal if you have a personal or premier account.
