 | View Full Version : quick question lisagauss 12-10-2002, 09:39 PM what if i register my domain name at godaddy and i get my hosting from another provider...all i have to do at godaddy is point my name to the providers lacation right? also, if my domain name is in godaddy and my hosting is in, lets say hostway for example, can i still send and recieve emails through hostway with my domain name (ex info@mydomain.com)? is there any advantage of having your domain name registered with the same company that gives you hosting? phpcoder 12-10-2002, 09:41 PM Nope, no real advantages.
