Anyone use Wells Fargo for merchant services? For co-location and managed hosting services specifically.

and if thats the way they do business with merchant services

i can only image what a colo contract might be--burst then grab your ankles.....

we just switched over to them and they have been great so far, but we don't use them for co-lo or dedicated services yet, only shared services. It does take a day or two longer to have access to your money, but for the quality of their service and their rates, it is fairly easy to plan accordingly to make sure the slight delay in funds processing doesn't cause a problem :)

I have been using this for almost a year now. No complains at all. International order support was finally setup in July after months of waiting. Other then that its great.

I dont know what the other person ment by they float your money to long. The turn around is usually no more than 48 hourss for us, which I dont think is unreasonable.

we have 2 merchant accounts one with nova one with wells fargo

it takes 3 days longer for wells fargo funds to be active in our bank. same card charged same day as a test

thats float

thats bad business from our point of view, it has made payments to nocs we use late. thats embarrassing and also bad business.


of course not everyone's business model works the way ours does. the float thing has been a problem and if you deal with large amounts, float is money being stolen from you too..
