Hi everybody! (In my head it sounds like Dr Nick) I didn’t want to just jump in and start posting without telling you a little about me.

My name is Ed Robertson. I live near Washington DC, been here almost half a century. I can’t wait to move to a warmer place though. It’s really cold outside.

A few years ago, I discovered I get along with computers. One of my friends says I think like a computer. Not sure if that’s a complement or not. Early last year I started hosting a few friends. Its now grown into a nice little business.

I have been lurking for a few weeks, trying to get a feel for how things work around here. You guys run a tight ship. I like that. I look forward to contributing to this community and hope my joining your group will be beneficial for everyone.

Hopefully you can share some of your knowledge with newbies in the biz ;). Also, be it known that you are in the minority age wise....:D

Boston? No thanks. :D Been there. Well actually Taunton, but near enough. A nice place in august but I can barely tolerate the cold oustide here in DC. There is no way I could do Boston. I dont know how you do it. I had to go put on a coat just thinking about it.

Yuck! You disgust me. Warm temperatures in December? Inconceivable!

(As you can see, I'm from Canada. :D)

:santa: -> Is it me, or did I just see a new smiley?

I love Phoenix, there is just one small issue.

No beach.

Florida City is my first choice. Maybe I can do my summers in Phoenix. One way or another I will be warm all year.

I can’t wait to move to a warmer place though.

How does sunny South Florida sound to you? Currently 77 outside.

If there was one place I'd certainly love to live in, it would have to be: San Diego, CA. I love the place. Best part: No mosquitoes! :D

The only problem is that the cost of living there is outrageous...:(

Welcome!
I'd love to chat about the climates, but it is about 20 degrees outside and I intend to curl up in a huge pile of warm blankets and hibernate for a couple of hours.

Oh, just make yourself at home . . .
