I have a client that has some specific needs and wondering which host would be best for us. I'm looking for the following requirements:

- 5 MS SQL databases (with remote connections enabled)
- ability to host multiple domains on the account (really only need to host 2 domains on it)
- MS reporting services

that's about it. I was looking at discountasp.net but im not sure on the quality of hosting there so please give me your thoughts and suggestions please.

Hi Jon,
I would go for a VPS/dedicated plan if you can manage a server.
You will have (much) greater flexibility and predictable performance.

your requirements are doable for shared/reseller hosting. What is your budget for this?

Your requirements should be doable in shared hosting environment. However, you will need to ensure that you get support of Reporting services in shared environment. If not, you can consider Hyper-V based VPS solution and have your own instance of database engine / reporting services installed.

You can easily find a hosting company who offers windows hosting with multiple SQL DBs, allow you to host multiple domains and offers MS reporting services.

DiscountAsp.net offers quality asp.net hosting. But I think they only offer 1 MSSQL db with shared hosting plan.

I think shared hosting will work for you! Don't invest on VPS as of now at least!

Many hosting service provider offers unlimited domains hosting on their shred hosting or reseller hosging plan. I suggest you to check with such kind of service provider with your desired budget and requirements.
