I'm trying to access my server through FTP, I can download but cannot upload, I can edit in the llevel of the virtual hosts but in the higher levels I have permission denied.
Can anybody highlighting the reason and how to fix it?

Is it a permissions problem? If you try to upload on some specific site and the files are chowned to someone else then you won't be able to update the files. You can check it via telnet.. by going to the correct directory and doing a ls -l

I'm not sure, but are you saying that you can upload to any of the sites, but cannot access deeeper into the server than /home/sites via FTP? If so, this is normal and you'd have to allow this (which is *not* recommended).
