By the way, anyone have any experience in doing this? I'd really not be keen on someone tweaking mysql buffer settings and taking up 100's of MB RAM just because "its their very own server".

Thank you for the link! Definitely interesting... Has anybody had any experience with it? I will try it on my server, hopefully soon....
cheers,

Very interesting. For several years, i had a reseller account with VServers and I knew they were using this type of software through their BSDI systems. When I transferred my accounts to a dedicated RAQ server, I missed the independent environment that can be made possible for each domain. The Sphera VDS system makes this possible but Sphera is quite expensive. Looks like this FreeVSD is the answer.
Greg from JaguarPC tried it out on one of his old DI boxes. I might get him to elaborate....
THANK YOU SO MUCH shrirch!
this is what I was looking for :D
adel,
What do you want to do with the program? Are you going to install it? Let us know of your progress.
Mivo
Mivo, yes I will install it in our servers at hostpx.com, those servers going to be test servers! if it work fine with no problem then we will start our Virtual Servers accounts ;-)
I will tell you how it goes!
