Is this the size of your mailbox, or a single email message? If it is just one message, it may be the mail program that is deleating the message.

Mind letting us know which hosts deletes your email? I think that is kind of crazy for a provider to do. And it would violate trust and privacy, which I'm sure is how you feel aready...

I don't think the host was deleating the emails. It looks like he was trying to send an email with too large an attachment and the mail server chocked on it.

Most host ive dealed with have no limitation on email bulk. I can set any of my emails to ANY size I want.


Also, what do you guys think of BIGMAILBOX.COM $0.10 per signup per month. I want to add an email feature to my site. One that will allow people to signup and instantly use their email.

Just to comment on jtan problem here on what happened.

Exim had a problem sending e-mail as the servers load itself was high because of another users mySQL database. In order to load this person's homepage it had to go through 60,000 queries just to get the info they needed. And this of coarse stressed the server, and caused high loads, which after a high load exim does stop/fail. This issue took about 4-5 hours to fix as we had to recode the user's php code, and fix her tables as there were many mistakes on it, once these 2 things were fixed, everything went back to normal.
