Just wondering, I'm probably going to be getting a server from them and they said Friday they'll get back to me on MONDAY with some quotes. This kinda sucks cause that means my sites will be down another few days in addition to any that we spend discussing terms. Are they usually like this? My entire reasoning for choosing them is because I've heard their tech support is one of (if not the) best out there ...

Most sales depts do not work on the weekends.

Here's what it says on their website:

ServInt's office business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. US Eastern time.

Their tech support is seperate from their sales (and billing too for that matter I think).

I can assure you that it will be worth the wait and their tech support is top notch (24/7). I've never had to wait longer than 30 mins for a reply (usually under 15 mins).

Sales and the building of new servers (they do each by hand and don't use drive imaging software, each is custom) stop for the weekends. I have called roughly a dozen times in one weekend, usually speaking with a great guy named Jorge. Each time he was on the phone with me for a bit while we got my server up and running. None of the issues I were calling about were beucase the server was down, but rather I was looking for how they had something setup and coudln't find it or something like that. Than I misconfigured BIND, which he pointed out, plus they got the email athentication up for me. So yes, they do work on weekends. And I am pretty sure they are glad they haven't heard from me in over a month.

K I'll wait til Monday then. I really hope it's worth it. BTW are their servers mid-towers (like the pics on their site) or rackmount?

not so true , maybe for the larger companies I guess;)
