Hello... I am in need of all of your expertise.
I am looking for a new shopping cart(have GoDaddy now)that is hosted like Go Daddy.
I am VERY novice and have zero coding skills.
Some of the things I need to have: over 100 products, newsletter for over 250 sends a month, to be able to have coupons/discounts, drag & drop interface & some really nice templates or the ability to use my own template(friend will help with this). I have a merchant account already with Authorize.net...would like to use it...but would also be willing to switch.
Right now I have been looking at 1and1.com and they look decent... but I have no clue as I have been with Go Daddy for over 2 years now and have never look for someone else.
Would love to hear from you guys what hosted shopping cats you like are good ones for me to look at.
Thanks in advance, Stacy

osCommerce i would say. Very easy to use and install.
You can easily integrate your own site/template and there is a module for authorize.net as i recall.
You can see some live shops at their website oscommerce.com ;)

I looked into osCommerce and I think I had to do coding... I have no clue when it comes to coding or adding my own modules... I really am a novice to this.
That is why I have Go Daddy right now... it is really easy. They have a wysiwyg editor built in and I really like that.... I like the drag & drop... that I CAN do!
Maybe I am looking at osCommerce in the wrong way.. I will take a look at it again.
My website right now is www.lonetreesoaps.com and when you look at it... that is how it looks to me when designing it... so when I add something to it.. it is right there.
Anyone else have any more suggestions?
Thanks for the replies!!

Please correct me if i am wrong, but it is a shopping cart you need for your site right?
Well. You can install osCommerce from fantastico as i recall. However, when it comes to adding your own design and use authorize.net module you WILL need to know how to use FTP and basic codings and script installation.
You might as well look to get a freelancer do it for you, but it will most likely cost something :)
I think this is the case with all shopping carts, but don't hang me up on that ;)

RasmusG~ I know adding my own template that I will have to have someone help with that... the person that I bought the template from is willing to help me. But with Authorize.net... Go Daddy just had a button to click to add them and I changed the info...as they walked me through it. That I can do! Lol
I think what I am looking for... is Go Daddy competitors. Someone who has a cart like they do.
Thanks for the help! :0)

Not sure how the godaddy's cart is it, but you'll need to modify all the shopping carts around to make it fit with your design, another cart that comes to my mind is zen cart (http://www.zen-cart.com/)
But with this too you'll need to set it up and modify it to fit the design with your site. There are already templates for Zen Cart and Oscommerce though.

You can start your research from here:

Or:

It is comparison of the features of various shopping cart software packages, including hosted editions.
