Aushosts 12-08-2002, 07:48 AM Hey got them email from 3 different friends in my hotmail account... is this for real people actually do this???? Whats your thoughts ?
From email:
A site that we were able to shut last year has returned. We have to try to shut it down again! A Japanese man in New York breeds and sells kittens that are called BONSAI CATS. That would sound cute, if it weren't kittens that were put into little bottles after being given a muscle relaxant and then locked up for the rest of their lives!! The cats are fed through a straw and have a small tube for their faeces. The skeleton of the cat will take on the form of the bottle as the kitten grows. The cats never get the opportunity to move. They are used as original and exclusive souvenirs. These are the latest trends in New York, China, Indonesia and New Zealand.

ninji 12-08-2002, 11:12 AM 2-3 years ago there was huge controversy with that site, alot of people found out about itat once , including animal rights groups, protection angencies, and the FBI started an investigation, concluding that the Site is 100% fake.
The FBI also concluded the person is breaking NO laws by having a ficitious site like that, so the site never dissapeared.

I saw on TV someone breeding dogs (I think it was yorkie terriers) that were so small they could sit in a glass jug or something. They looked like they hadn't been fed very much. The same thing has happend with "fake" dwarf rats. Breed ordinary pet rats, and then don't feed them much when they grow up. Real dwarf rats have gene that makes them small, and they are very rare.

ADEhost 12-24-2002, 03:41 AM Oh how I love my Bonsai Kitten, how I have wished to host that site. interesting I still recll all the feelings when I first found it. sick at first, the reading more, interested, by the end I was laughing. about a month later I found out it was a hoax. but I got to say, this is what americans have that nobody else have. guy weilding law enforcement to protect the rights of imaginary animals.

simple really, a chicken is a food animal to most people. a cat is a pet and a dog is a pet. most humans give right's to pet's over other humans, people will die for thier pet's, while they will happily murder someone for hurting a pet.
Now mind you, all 3 animals taste good from what I'm told. people just don't have thier priorities straight. We are human, we are top of the food chain. we are the wolf, the vulture, the king of the jungle at the end of the day.

well I never said chickens are not pet's, I said it's a food animal.
I will vouch that a pig is the best pet around, nothing better for guarding your farm than a a nasty old pig that has not eaten for a few days. they bite real hard.
personally I think that cat tails are great windhield wipers, then if you have a baby, cat paw pelts are great hand mittens, cat pets also make great tiny baby coat's.
