I am trying to set up a program to test drive it prior to actually getting a dedicated. Question is, can I set up Tomcat/JSP/JDK support on a virtual machine. The problem is I want to test the program prior to coughing up the money for a dedicated. The program in question is the uPortal from http://mis105.mis.udel.edu/ja-sig/uportal/. I am trying to set up an educational portal for the military. Is there any way to do this, or do I have to go ahead and get the dedicated server?? If so, can I set up Tomcat/JSP/JDK on a Raq4? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
