Quick question, a little confused about domain reselling.

So, I would like to offer a free domain name with certain plans when they're paid for in full, for a year or more.

So, for example, say a customer selects 'Plan B' for $72 a year. Through my domain reseller, I can sell dot com's for $8.50, is it possible to set it up so that $8.50 is automatically withdrawn from the $72 paid towards my company? Or do I have to have funds in a reseller account first?

Sorry, its late. I hope my question makes sense, as its unclear to me how exactly the reselling of domain names work.

The general experience says that your registrar won't register a domain for you without prior funding. It also makes sense as there are no refunds on registration when the customer (in that case YOU) defaults. How to manage that with the setup of your billing system is hard to say without more details.

Normally most reseller centric registrars require a pre-fund so that the monies can be debited automatically when you register a domain through your preferred billing app.
