well... i got lazy and forgot about my domain... I got it threw Host Once (actually my friend got it for me) but I switched to a diff host and they kept my domain =( I was gonna keep bugging them to change the domain info but got lazy and forgot about it until today =(

its expiring on the 11th sooo I wanna transfer it but I don't think theyll let me do that, that quickly... if I don't pay them, do you guys know when my domain will be available? or will they renew it to hold it hostage?

I paid the $16 for this year so it'll expire on 12/11/02 and I don't wanna pay $16 again b/c they take too long changing the DNS... I wanna go to godaddy or namecheap...

any suggestions?

i think it takes at least 45 days for your domain to be available for registration again.

My advice would be to pay the $16 to reregister it so it doesn't expire and then transfer it. You'll get another year when you transfer it.
