It took RBSWorldPay 2 months to create new installation ID. Now, they told us that we cant have new installation ID on websites which are not in the same category as our existing site.

Is this their terms/rules?

Does anybody manage to get multiple installation ID with WorldPay from different categories?

That is standard practice.

If site a is engaged in one type of business, they cannot allow site b to process via site a's merchant account.

MIDs and rates are assigned based on the business category (SIC CODE) and level of risk as determined by an underwriter.

This is why they have this policy, which in reality any and all reputable acquiring banks and merchant services providers will have in place.

Isn't processing for someone else also illegal?
