View Full Version : looking for a domain registrar
hi, sorry that this is my first post on the board but its kinda urgent :)
i'm looking for a domain registrar that will accept (a verified) paypal without having a creditcard tied to it.
i originally planned to buy it with godaddy as they have paypall support but as noted before they only accept paypal accounts that are linked to a creditcard and thus i'm stuck :( .
do you guys kno any registrars where it is possible to pay with a normal paypal account (and is trustworthy)
thanks in advance,
Dirk
The_Dominator 05-03-2010, 03:49 PM try dotster - i think they allow it - we use them as a wholesale account and accept paypal payments

HostColor 05-03-2010, 04:37 PM Hi Dirk,
Welcome to WHT. Do you need the domain account for a web hosting related business or just want to use the domains for yourself. I think there are a number of registrars that would allow you to add money from your PayPal account and will not require credit card. Onlinenic and Namecheap should be 2 of them.
Jake-GV 05-03-2010, 04:39 PM domainsite.com does accept paypal
you need to select paypal when ordering, it's normally just above where you enter the card details.
It will work for you ;)

The point of view of someone who's "not a host" is often valuable. There's plenty of hosts around here.
