i play a lot with php/mysql and such and would like to find a host who is willing (and able) to use updated software.

they would also have to be willing (and able) to add modules to apache and such. i am not talking about betas but adding stuff like domxml which is relatively new and hard to find.

other than that i need about 20 databases, 20 subdomains, more than 1 ftp and shell account, a static ip and lots of uptime :)

but the updated sw is the most important.

Sounds like a low-end dedicated server might be best for you. You will find some hosts on this board who are offering dedicated servers for as low as $79/mo!
