Hi, hope someone can help.

I've registered a domain (.com) but am unhappy that, as well as my business name, my own full name and address are shown in a "whois" lookup.

Is there any way of changing this?

I'm not doing anything illegal or nefarious in any way, but I would like the freedom to experiment and make mistakes without the world-and-his-dog being able to immediately identify me, personally.

Not too bothered about the Company name and not too bothered about my actual physical address being displayed (but not dancing a jig, with glee, about displaying those, either).

What I am concerned about is that my full personal name (which is somewhat unique) is currently displayed.

Can I have my personal name removed or replaced?

What if I change address? Can I change that also?

What if I want to transfer the domain to another entity? Can I change that?

Who did you buy the domain name from ? as most will offer a domain privacy system however some will charge you extra for this service

You can ask your Registrar that they use their name, some Registrars are offering this service. Or you can ask if they provide anonymous whois.
