We have released (in beta) our gaming community for The Sims Online which is due in stores 12/18/02 - from Maxis and EA. This game has received national attention and has graced the COVER of Newsweek and other very large magazines.

Our gaming community is going to be the largest online community focusing on The Sims Online - a game that will transcend the internet. We have constructed a community full of sites related to auctions, chat, forums, radio, tips, strategies, classifieds, and more, solely based upon this game. We have developed strategic partnerships for sites that want to join our community and have taken them into our community to foster and grow them.

Our community is looking for 1 EXCELLENT web host to advertise on their own personal 'page' in the community. The page will have a link in EVERY page in the community and it will be the official sponsor of the community. We are NOT looking for free hosting - we are looking for a host who wants to take up this special offer and advertise to the community of potential web-site enthusiasts who want sites for the game. We've already sent 3 customers to Interland (because of their big name) within 5 days of being open.

We are currently in Beta - and plan to launch fully (full ad campaign) on December 15, 2002. We are looking for an advertiser (hosting company) who would like the full page ad on our site, integrated into the community as seen here:

That page demonstrates how the page will look, etc. You can put your logo, pictures, etc on the page - and it will be on our server. You can update/integrate any text on that page as well. You just send us the HTML - sorry, no Java scripts allowed.

This advertising campaign will run until 2/1/02 - (February 1st, 2003) and you will be the ONLY advertiser to be the "official host of TheSimsCommunity.com". You will thus be marketed this way to our members. Whether we grow to have 3,000+ members by February first (very likely - as the game is getting MAJOR hype and we've got a huge ad campaign scheduled) or 300 members, the price is the same:

$300 until February 1, 2003. So, the sooner you contact us and paypal us the money (after we 'ok' it), we'll get your page up. Rates will significantly go up after Feb. 1, 2003.

To see current webstats of our performance so far, we just released it to the public in beta- so that's why our stats have been climbing:

Please send all inquiries to:
webmaster@thesimscommunity.com

The site is TheSimsCommunity.com and has 12 domains associated with this - all dot com's

As an added bonus, in our bi-weekly emailings to members, we'll have a 2 line blurb about your company.

To clear up any misunderstandings from past inquiries to our staff:

We are set to go live 12/15/02. We are currently in beta testing and at this time (as of 9:48PM EST) have 324 members on our mailing list for the site.

Our site encompasses 12 top level domain names regarding the game, The Sims Online. We will be offering online services for this game which will help build up our community and make TheSimsCommunity.com the largest online TSO community.

The community is backed by a few staff members from Maxis, a few GameSpot.com writers and free-lance writers and publicists in the gaming industry. The community is gaining some recognition due to the write-ups it received in the ‘member only’ section of TheSimsOnline.com (official game site).

There is no-one less than 20 years of age on TheSimsCommunity.com staff – and the experience of the staff members varies widely, but everyone on staff has been involved in running communities such as StudentCenter.org, Student.com and ExoticCarNetwork.com.

There are no technologies that have been left out in developing this site – its fully interactive – each and every part. 85% of the site is database oriented (Mysql) and most pages are dynamic. We are not 100% complete in building –as any community builds ongoing – but our target launch date is 12/15/02 – which we should meet without problem.

To clear up- we are not looking for hosting – we are looking for an advertiser who wants to affiliate themselves with this venture, please let us know. If you can’t meet our request for $300USD, please let us know what you can offer. We are taking all offers seriously and would like to score an affiliation ASAP.
