I worked on this all day yesterday..and launched it today.

It's called eSmasher. :)

It will have news (not tutorials etc.) about happenings on WebHostingTalk, SitePointForums etc and other smaller companies.

It's not nearly finished yet (only has one article so far), so please be patient, and maybe submit your own articles!

Thanks,
Matt Kaufman

I don't get it. Whats the point? You copy threads from multiple forums and post them on your site?

Doesn't seem very useful.

Uh..no. I never said I copied threads from forums. I said I would write articles about companies on the forums eg the first one on there, since some people don't visit forums every day. And when I posted this, it was the first day eSmasher had launched and really, it's only a site that I'm playing around with but I decided some traffic wouldn't hurt. I will also be writing articles on other topics, not covered on any forums (check out eSmasher now for an example..)

I'm working on getting much more content and I hope to at least have two new articles tomorrow.

This could be a very useful site....

... As long as it avoids judgements of course ;) Good luck with it Matt!

FYI, the discussed Microsoft IE bug or whatever... is not really one :)

IE does not display the content of its cache and temporary files because they are not stored the usual way. To easily remove them, in DOS, use:
deltree c:\path\to\history
etc...
