View Full Version : VPSeasy.com/.net for sale
ameteria 04-22-2010, 12:01 AM VPSeasy.com/.net for sale
I recently purchased VPSeasy.com and VPSeasy.net, I was planning on starting a new brand, but unfortunately, something has come up which will severely limit the amount of time I would have to work on the project. They’re highly brandable domains, not even to mention the SEO keywords you can get out of them.
With that being said, I’m selling both of the domains as a package. You may bid via this thread or via PM. The highest bid I have as of 5:00PM PST on 4/23/2010 will receive the domain. PayPal only for payments.
If you have any questions, please post them or PM me, I would be more than happy to answer them.
FAQ:
When do the domains expire?
10/30/2010
Where are the domains registered?
GoDaddy
How will they delivered?
Via Push to your GoDaddy account.
What if I want to transfer them to another host?
All transfer fees will be at winner’s expense.
What are the traffic stats on the domains?
I honestly don’t know, I haven’t had them hooked up to a webhost yet, I just got them a few days ago.
Thanks for your time and happy bidding!
webRulon 04-22-2010, 03:48 AM I'll start the bidding at $50
ameteria 04-22-2010, 09:42 AM Hello,
@Fightinghost, Thanks for your interest in the domain. I actually had a private message last night already bidding $50, if you would like to offer more, please do so.
It has also been pointed out to me that I had made a mistake in my initial post, the date the auction ends will be on Monday 26, 2010 at 5:00PM PST not Friday 23, 2010. It would be great if a moderator could update my original post.
I will be updating the thread whenever a new bid is made privately to give everyone an equal chance.
The current bid is $50 by Private User
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
webRulon 04-22-2010, 01:06 PM Ok, then I bid $55.

Another reminder, the original post is incorrect, the auction will end on Monday March 26, 2010 at 5:00PM PST, not the 23rd at 5:00.
Thanks for your interest in the domain.

I guess you mean April?
ameteria 04-22-2010, 06:25 PM Yes April, my apologies, I have way to much on the mind.
the auction will end on Monday APRIL 26, 2010 at 5:00PM PST, not the 23rd at 5:00 and not in march.

I apologize for that, the announcement in this category contradicts the main board rules a little bit in that respect. I'll try to keep all further bids public.

Bid's can be made via PM as he asked for. He just needs to keep people updated on the high bid. Bids can even be made off board just if there is an auction elsewhere there needs to be a link to it.

ahem (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/announcement.php?f=55&a=38).
If you are buying:
1. You are responsible for the bids you post. Bid only if you plan to buy.
2. Publicly post your bid.
3. If you win an auction, pay the seller.
webRulon 04-23-2010, 12:24 AM I bid $80 for the domains

Where is the reference to this rule? I only know the reference that's posted by Bear. I guess, even a community liason is fallible :D
I'll bid $90 for both domains.
klikli 04-23-2010, 04:34 AM Are these domains comes from http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=941651 ?

Are these domains comes from http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=941651 ?
Yes they are. Like I said, I had just purchased the domains when something had come up. I tried contacting the original seller so he might be able to give them to others, but I can't get a hold of him. I've just decided to auction them off in a new thread instead.

Are you saying you don't yet own or have control of these names?
ameteria 04-23-2010, 12:47 PM Are you saying you don't yet own or have control of these names?
No, I'm sorry for the confusion. I have full control of these domain names, they are in my GoDaddy account right now.
What I'm trying to say, is that I was trying to contact the original seller to possibly give them back to him, so he can find another buyer. However, I couldn't contact him, so I'm selling them myself.
smarty-boots 04-23-2010, 03:47 PM Hi
If you have "full control" why not add a page to the server / holding page linking to this THREAD then all would know and be ok with it.

Very good idea. I have done this. Both domains have been added to a web hosting account and given a basic page explaining that they are up for sale and linking to this web page. Sorry that it is just black text on a white background, not very exciting.
Please remember that your computer may take up to 48 hours for the new nameservers to kick in, you can use a web proxy to view it in the mean time.

httpEasy 04-25-2010, 02:04 PM Just one thing: if you purchased them only recently is there now a 60-day-hold (or something similar) on transfers or not?

Hello,
Thanks you for the question. I just got off the phone with GoDaddy, I am able to push the domain to another users GoDaddy account, but with any push at GoDaddy, the recipient must wait 60 days to trasnfer it away from GoDaddy.
I hope this answers your question.

ameteria 04-26-2010, 08:00 PM Thanks everyone for your interest in the domain.
