Ok So this is the skinny. I have Nginx on my system installed from a repo. I want to compile it from source because the source files are newer and have some functionality that I will need soon. I am running Centos 5.3 64-bit. I am getting an error when I try to compile. Any ideas? Error here:

Well, thats not right.
He needs to run the configure script first and then run make and make install.

I did run the configure first. It did not show anything out of the ordinary. I will post it later on today so you may see all the lines that the configure statement resulted in.

That looks fine assuming all the paths are what you wanted. Did you try running make after that?

i figured it out, but it took a little time, just didn't use the option -Werror
