I was wondering if anybody with a nocster server could login into their server for me, and traceroute a couple of sites from the server, and post the results here?

Gentlemen:

Keep in mind we are adding a 100MBPS Fast Ethernet to Verio sometime next week, as well as a 100MBPS Fast Ethernet to Global Crossing in early January.

We plan on dropping Cogent from our data center completely in the next couple weeks! We just have it now as a backup...

I thought you had ALTER.net (worldcom) in the Burst mix - what happened to that? Verio and Sprint sound great! I'm glad Cogent is gone now, way too many headaches.

It was just a DS3 from Worldcom...
It is being replaced with the 100MB FE from Global Crossing. Our Cogent 100 FE is being replaced with the Verio service.

We needed the added capacity, and we received great pricing from Global Crossing & Verio...enabling us to keep offering our low low pricing. We reviewed the networks and performance/reliability of Gblx & Verio, and and found these networks would improve our speed, even if replacing Worldcom. And Cogent...well, we don't need to say much there about replacing them...any carrier out there is better than them...

Yeah, I'd agree, nothing but the best from Nocster from what I've seen. of course the setup could have been a little smoother (hehe), but sales, etc.

In the month or so i've been @ nocster, i think I've seen ONE incident for downtime, and that was on a sunday morning , fixed inside of an hour. Pretty damn good for an early sunday am / routing issue. Other than that, I've not seen a bit of downtime from 'em, and the network's been reliable as anything!
