I am planning to run a VPN service using dedicated server,
does anybody knows is there any good software that will allow me to manage the users easier, such as remind me when the bill is expired and see how long did the user access the service?

I've got a little bit of an unconventional option to what most users on here would suggest, but I think it may do exactly what you want.

the company name is MikroTik, they have a free add on software module for their router platform called User Manager (I tried linking to it, but as I'm new, the forum deleted my first post, so you'll have to google it). I've never used the user manager add on, but it is supposed to generate all sorts of useage reports, and perform the billing as well.

The router platform is top notch and very reliable, I've been using them for years with amazing success. They perform very well as a VPN appliance as well. Check them out, you may find that it does everything you want in a single package...
