Does anyone know how i can convert from grub to lilo. Because grub doesnt have lilo -R. so i cant even test if the kernel works or not.

Yes, it's easy from the console. Make sure you have your RH installation disks ready. Reboot the server and boot up with the RH installation disk 1 (I assume you are using Red Hat 7.3). Hit enter, for graphical mode. Then go forward until you hit the screen presenting you to select installation system, type: workstation, server etc.. the last menu option will be Upgrade Existing System or something. Select it and hit forward. Then on the next screen you will be presented with the option to change bootable options, where you will be able to select LILO... Then move forward, forward until you can reboot and you are done. I am not 100% sure if this works, but if I remember, I can check it out after a few hours... visiting data center myself.
