What company allows you to purchase a domain with a phone or SMS? For me it's a convenient way of paying and my bank account is unfortunately temporarily deactivated.

never heard of such either. most of companies provide services to people of legal age. with a phone payment number of those that are under legal age will increase dramatically. i don't think companies want to deal with parents of the kids who abuse phone of their parents :D

Registering domains with just your phone would be an exciting idea. In the Netherlands we have text messages (sms)services that charge your phone bill. This system is often used in the Netherlands for micro payments. An idea worth considering.

Considering Dutch law; there are no objections, but this of course will vary depending what country your are in and what law is applicable.

Anyone else a brilliant thought on easy domain registration?

I know a german registrar offering an iPhone App for it's reseller portal. Payment with SMS or premium service numbers is (at least in germany) an expensive thing for the provider. The telcos keep a large margin for billing/invoicing.

When having trouble with your bank account, you won't be able to pay your telephone bill... so not a good idea.

Payments via SMS is extremely expensive. The costs associated will have to drop dramatically before our industry embraces this technology.
