View Full Version : Where to Buy a domain ?
AryaInk 04-14-2010, 04:00 PM Where to buy a domain ?
I mean I tried Godaddy but they don't accept paypal if I have not attached my credit card with it. And I don't want to pay via other options.
Register.com is too costly as compared to godaddy.
what other option I have ? also a good not too costly host ?
I am complete noob in this field so please don't use heavy words :D

You did not read my post correctly, I said godaddy does not accept paypal if you have not attached your credit card with it.

Never mind, posted at the same time
donbiz 04-14-2010, 05:11 PM I reccommend Name.com as I have always used them to register my domains. They accept PayPal and don't make you add a credit card either.

yes i read his post correctly. Godaddy accepts paypal without giving your credit card details, they have paypal agreement. I tested them using paypal account and it works well for me.

No they do not, I talked to them directly and they told me that they do not allow paypal accounts which are not verified by attaching credit card.
Anyway lets not indulge in this anymore.
AryaInk 04-15-2010, 01:20 AM I reccommend Name.com as I have always used them to register my domains. They accept PayPal and don't make you add a credit card either.
Thanks, I will go and have a look.
Georgio H 04-15-2010, 04:33 PM 101domain search that on google

4solutions 04-19-2010, 09:50 PM I reccommend Name.com as I have always used them to register my domains. They accept PayPal and don't make you add a credit card either.
I use a number of registrars, but Name.com is a good registrar and I've used PayPal there several times (but I do have a verified PayPal account).
Just make sure you renew the domains promptly, I guess I got pretty used to eNom giving me a fairly long grace period, Name.com not so much.
Adam27 04-20-2010, 11:23 PM seems wierd godaddy wont except paypal without credit card, why don't you just go get a credit card?
NotanAngel 04-21-2010, 04:43 AM name cheap accepts unverified paypal BUT indeed - why don't you get a credit card?
also, please don't take a risk to use somebody else's paypal or credit card if yo?u do not absolutely trust this person. under any circumstances. you will be responsible for payments and if you get scammed yourself, you will be a scammer in eyes of your registrar.
good luck!
forumplace 04-21-2010, 09:53 AM I am using Namecheap. It costs $8.81 per domain name after using a discount coupon code. It comes with free Privacy Guard.
ameteria 04-21-2010, 10:00 PM I use namecheap as well, I've never had a problem with them.
TBradley 04-21-2010, 11:46 PM Enom is the best for my business. They have a great system for users and, if needed, they provide great support!
madlymasterful2018 04-26-2010, 07:13 AM I think namecheap do accept paypal. But you can then try namecheap or domain.com
Hazzi 04-26-2010, 07:53 AM Godaddy accepts paypal, I have more 10 domains at here (order by paypal), but I reccommend Name.com, it is easy to order domain here by paypal.
AryaInk 04-26-2010, 08:52 AM Thanks for all the reply guys :)
