I am looking for very specific host and was hoping someone here might have some ideas.
The easy part:
Virtual (shared) Unix server.
PHP,MySQL support.
Reseller support.
The hard part:
I need PHP compiled with ODBC support. I am migrating a site built in PHP/MySQL and I need to connect that site to a remote Access DB. That means the machine would need something like MyODBC installed and PHP compiled with that support (or something similar.).
I am looking for a large, reputable host (who isn't?). Every host I have looked at can support the easy part just fine, but none seem to have ODBC drivers so I can hook up with the Access db.
My other, less appealing option is to migrate the site to a PHP enabled windows server and use MSSQL instead of MySQL. But I really would rather not have to do that (lots of unix specific things going on in the PHP).
