Hello! Okay so I'm totally new to this hosting thing and I'm wanting to create a little side business for myself focused on a small niche of people. I plan to create a few custom WP themes and plug-ins that are specific to their needs for a website. I also plan to host their sites as well. Basically I want them to be able to just register their domain name, pick a custom theme and be set.

So... my question is: What do I need to do in order for my subscribers to get WordPress + Plug-Ins installed right at sign up like so many other hosts are able to do in a few minutes? I can see myself doing it manually for a short time but I'm thinking it could end up being a full time job if this thing grows larger than I had expected.

Thanks for your patience and advice.

Well, if you hone your Google search down correctly there are options available.

We have an in-house script that works in conjunction with WHMCS that automatically provisions these scripts including database and templates when the order is placed. When the package is ordered, the user is presented with a website already up and running and the correct template and plugins installed.

Do some research into WHMCS hooks and cPanel - it's not hugely difficult to create your own.
