I would also more then likely sell just the psd's for 25 dollars a piece does that sound reasonable? HostColor 04-11-2010, 06:38 PM There is a long way before start selling design services or even templates. If you are good in drawing then get a program like Photoshop and use create images that someone would turn into code. If you want to do the coding then you do not need to have advanced skills in designing the images and objects. jtaM 04-11-2010, 07:32 PM You could take a class to help you learn photoshop. An another way to learn is just to keep messing around and keep working at it. Like everything else practice is needed. When you get pretty good you could sell design's for more then 25$ a pop. Hope this helps, feel free to ask me any questions. :agree: techjr 04-11-2010, 09:07 PM I took a photoshop class and know how to use it but is webhost design and logos different from average web designs? I will post up some of my work later to see what everyone thinks. andresbuzzio 04-12-2010, 02:15 PM I think this forum itself and Sitepoint are great and full of resources. Did you try them? cjones_937 04-12-2010, 03:50 PM JTamburino - I have a question for you! I am trying to design my first website under the domain name www.bravadg.com. Unfortenately I cannot get my home page to come up when I type that into my browser. I get errors about the page being forbidden. Instead I have to type http://bravadg.com/Index.html before anything shows up. I noticed you had http://www.jtamburino.com/ and it works. How can I accomplish that? Is it file management via my cpanel? And No, I do not have the pages for my tabs uploaded yet so if you click on them you get blank pages. techjr 04-12-2010, 04:04 PM I think this forum itself and Sitepoint are great and full of resources. Did you try them? In the design tutorials I never found anything specific on designing hosting templates... I can do whmcs integrations and wordpress skins but my hosting ones are ugly. Takes practice I guess. nicklfire 04-13-2010, 10:36 AM Believe it or not there are tons of youtube videos out there, whenever i am learning something new i will usually jump onto youtube and check out what they got. Tin 04-13-2010, 01:51 PM I would suggest lynda.com It's a great resource for learning material for someone who wants to be a designer.
