I'm looking for an adult host for my site.
I've narrowed it down to these remaining 'adult' hosts in order of preference. I just wanted to get a forum opinion on this and see what you guys suggest I go for. Maybe some of the hosts I've listed aren't too reputable. This is what I'm trying to find out as well.
1/ 2 Day Host (http://www.2dayhost.com/hostingplans.phtml)between the Platinum & Diamond
2/ Web Hosting Network (http://www.www-hosting.net/hosting.html) between the WHNPower & WHNProfessional package.
3/ Cerebrum Technologies (http://www.cerebrumtech.com/unix.htm) the Ultra Pro Web Hosting package.
4/ HB Hosting (http://www.hbhosting.com/compare.html) I'm considering the Virtual Hosting $24.95 plan.
If anyone has anything better please let me know. I appreciate it.

Hi!
Welcome to the wonderful world of "looking for decent adult site hosts at a decent cost".
And now the first thing I will do is, sad to say, disappoint you:
There is no such thing as good adult hosting for low costs, believe me(but if you find one let me know asap, thanks).
I have been struggling with adult sites for about two years and changed hosts six or seven times so far, am trying out a host that gave me an offer at this board(mail me if you want to now who, he doesn't want to shout out he's allowing adult sites that loud). To be honest looking for hosts has been the main time taker for me so far.
I took a look at the sites you are considering and I can't say anything bad or good about any of them but what I can say is that if you're planning a well visited adult site they have far to low bandwidth allowances and believe me you don't wanna take the cost of going over your bandwidth with 20 or 30 gigs, ok(just telling you for your own good).
Maybe you won't have that masstraffic to begin with but after a while you would probably need to move and again look for a suitable host, why not save that bother and find one who will be good for you for at least a couple of years right away(even if it will cost you some more)?
I'm currently hosting a couple of smaller sites at IIC(web229.net) and they allow adult sites(legal stuff, of course!!!) and they are alright for their price and so far they haven't cried about bandwidth(am using between 10 - 22 gigs currently) but they cannot provide that unlimited traffic that they say of course, but I think they will give you more bandwidth than the ones you are mentioning. My other tips, who I haven't tried out myself yet, are kikko.com and mzlab.net(don't take new accounts right now though), they both have good prices and bandwidth allowances, but do ask about them first(at this board maybe?).
Good luck and let me know if you find any fantastic offers.

Thanks for the generous tips mabra. Yes I'm still looking for an adult host.
Meanwhile, I have recently signed up with the Web Hosting Network (#2 on my list in the first post) for an E/N site I'm starting.
I may very well e-mail you about that 'adult' host you know soon so I can try and get my 'adult' site up as well.
Cheers. :)

On the third one you listed there, Cerebrum Technologies, there is something I found really funny listed in the package.
•Unlimited Space
And then a few lines down...
•$0.50 per MB on any average storage beyond the standard allowed disk space
Kinda contradicting themselves there don't ya think ;)

Haha. The snag! It's amazing. The further one reads into their terms and agreements and so forth, the further they get to the truth.
