got a new server up there... prepaid a year n all... ~3 days ago... yet to see a single day of proper performance... (supposed "DoS" attacks... latency >400ms for long periods of time)... how often does this happen? the only reason i picked burst was cuz of their supposed reputation of quality service... was i wrong in this assumption? cuz if so, i want my 30 day money-back guarantee... ugh
my client is spazzin' at me... n i have nothing to say but "sorry"...
hmm

heh its not all that wise to prepay for such long terms with any provider. You never know who is going to be around tomorrow in this market.

Rarely.
I'm using Nocster (at Burst), and have only had one DOS attack (which lasted for about 30 minutes yesterday) during the peak hours of traffic to my site, but my site was still reachable (just slightly slower) on 56k modems. I've only had 2 network problems - the one yesterday, and an AT&T problem last month, which lasted 45 minutes (all other carriers still worked :))

Odd... my Nocster server's been online and getting wonderful speeds for quite a while. I haven't seen any downtime since that problem with the generators about a month or so ago...
