How do you park a domain on a RaQ server?

I was trying to park several domains, but when you create a virtual site you have to assign a domain name to it. Multiple domains can be entered in the "Web Server Alias" box, but still the primary domain will be the one shown on the browser address bar when someone types a alias domain.

Do any of you know if there is a way to set it up so that when someone enters a domain the domain is shown on the address bar and still have multiple domains parked as a virtual site?

Thanks!!!

...and if you simply point the domain to an IP address, it will rewrite the domain (what fun eh?). I dunno...

Yeah you are right. It sucks! That is why I am getting rid off my RaQs. I am moving to Linux next month. It is kind of stupid that you need to create a virtual site for each parked domain.

I guess you mean have mulitple domains pointing to one site and showing the original domain name, not the given site name. If sh check out my thread a while ago http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=7786 :D

Now that it has been a while since you did it, have you seen side effects? Is it still working fine?

I am about to do it, but I am hosting about 230 sites on this server and don't want to mess it up!

Your help is very appreciated!

Not yet :) But I'm hosting far fewer sites than you. As long as you have a backup of the httpd.conf file - at least you can revert...
